Local Roads and Transport Congress Communique
"In the 10 years since the first Roads Congress was held in Moree, we have enjoyed a number of significant achievements such as the introduction and two extensions of the Roads to Recovery program, significant funding for community infrastructure, federal funding for asset management, urban rail projects, bike paths and rail level crossing upgrades - to mention a few.

Cinema Survey
This Survey aims to gauge residents attitudes about cinema usage and experience expectations. The result of the Cinema Survey will enable the Council to make a decision on the provision of a cinema in Moree.

Community Engagement Strategy
Community engagement, therefore, is a way of including the views of the Moree Plains Shire community in the Council’s planning and decision making processes. In other words, the Council will engage the community to identify, understand and develop strategies to address and respond to their needs and concerns for now and in the future.

Timber bridge at Mungindi - SQARRP
The New South Wales and Queensland governments are jointly funding a project to replace the timber bridge over the Barwon River at Mungindi.
