HARMONY ON THE PLAINS MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL 2008
The
annual Multi-cultural Festival will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of
October 2008 which will promote understanding and respect for our
cultural diversity. During the week there will be many activities
culminating with a carnival to be held in Jellicoe Park on Sunday the

A major theme on
the day will be displays of singing and dancing in National Dress. The
carnival will also provide an opportunity to sample many traditional
foods for example, Serbian, Philippine, Indian, Scottish and Chinese.
The 4th will be the formal dinner to be held at our Memorial Banquet
Hall at 6.30 pm. The 5th is an informal, family oriented day in
Jellicoe Park.
The final details of the activities will be updated as soon as they are confirmed.
