Moree Plains Shire Council is calling for expressions of interest for community projects for the second round of funding for 2007/2008 financial year. The Community Development Grant has been established by the Moree Plains Shire Council to assist community groups upgrade the amenities of their villages, towns and neighbourhoods. Grants of up to $5,000 are available and Council will fund on a 50/50 basis (either in cash or kind). The guidelines for the grant have changed and you will require to obtain a copy of the new guidelines to ensure that your community projects meet the grant criteria. The application forms together with the guidelines are available in Council’s main office in Auburn Street Moree or visit Council’s website at www.mpsc.nsw.gov.au.
