Notice is hereby given that Council has prepared a Draft Moree and Environs Floodplain Risk Management Plan. The reason for the draft plan is to provide a plan for Floodplain Risk Management that complies with the NSW Government Floodplain Management Manual 2005. The draft plan is on public exhibition at Council's Administration Office, 21 Auburn Street Moree and the Moree Library during normal business hours from Friday 9th November, 2007 to Friday 7th December, 2007. If you wish to make a submission in relation to the Draft Moree and Environs Floodplain Risk Management Plan, please do so in writing by 3.00 p.m. on Friday 7th December, 2007. Submissions must be made in writing to the General Manager, Moree Plains Shire Council and can be lodged by fax or mailed to PO Box 420 Moree NSW 2400.
