Road Safety
Variable Message Signs (VMS) - Applies to everyone
PLEASE NOTE: THIS APPLIES TO COUNCIL EVENTS AND
EMPLOYEES AS WELL AS EXTERNAL EVENTS AND ORGANISATIONS
Over the past months there has been a lot of confusion over who,
where and when you can use a VMS. To make it simpler Council
has implemented an application for the use of VMS in Moree Plains Shire.
If you wish to use a portable Variable Message Sign on any Moree Plains
Shires road, park or open space you require Moree Plains Shire Council
and, in most cases, Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) approval.
