Waste Disposal Facilities

The Moree Plains Shire Council operates the Moree Waste Management Facility as well as a number of smaller local landfill sites. Below is a list of landfill sites and their opening times.

All putrescible waste (waste which is capable of decay) is tipped onto the floor of the transfer station. The putrescible waste is then sorted, bailed, tied and transported from the transfer station to the waste cell for placement in the ground.
