EXPRESSION OF INTEREST:


Expressions of Interest are sought from persons who would like to participate in Council’s community based
“Road Efficiency Task Force”.

INTRODUCTION

Invitations are open for community minded and holistically thinking persons to be part of Council’s sunset Community Advisory Road Efficiency Task Force.

In response to community feed back received from Council’s annual Management Plan community consultation process, Council hopes to conduct two (2) independently facilitated workshop sessions to assist with identifying potential efficiency improvements in Council’s road maintenance operations.

The Road Efficiency Task Force will include representatives from the community, the Road Improvement Committee and Council.

Council has a key objective, to provide for its ratepayers, a sustainable integrated transport infrastructure network that will provide safe, convenient and efficient traffic movement for sustained community, economic and social growth to Moree Plains Shire.

The role of the task force is to develop recommendations, dealing with sustainable road service delivery, and provide these to Council for consideration within 12 weeks.
