RESUME TIPS

Please ensure that your resume includes the following information:

 

 

  •   Your application could contain a covering letter (One page).

 

  •   A resume provides your personal details, name, address, phone, etc and also your work history and educational details (1-2 pages). It can also contain further information addressing the Skills, Knowledge and Experience section of the Position Description can also be included (one or two pages).

 

  •   Educational information - please include the name of the school attended, year attended, subjects successfully completed including maths result achieved.

 

  •   Education and work history information should be provided in reverse chronological order i.e., most recent first.

 

  •   Drivers Licence – please provide details regarding your drivers licence status, Licence No and Licence Class. If you do not have a drivers licence are  you prepared / able to obtain a drivers licence.

 

  •   Include the names and contacts of two referees.

 

  •   Please do not attach original copies of certificates, it is requested that if you have certificates/qualifications that they are listed providing, name of institution i.e. Work cover, date achieved, name of course/certificate and you may like to include a photocopy of the certificate/qualification attached to your resume.
