Annual Fire Safety Statements

The owner of a premise which has fire safety measures (such as portable fire extinguishers, exit signs etc.) is required to provide a statement to the Council and the NSW Fire Brigade every 12 months certifying that the fire safety measures have been inspected by a competent person and are working correctly.

Planning and Development will be writing to many building owners to remind them of when their statement is due.
