How Confident is Your Business About our Future? Calling all Businesses in Moree
The Moree Chamber of Commerce and Moree Plains Shire Council (MPSC) are working in partnership to better understand trading conditions and recent changes to business performance in our town.
Over the coming weeks representatives of MPSC and the Moree Chamber will be conducting a ‘business confidence survey’ within the Shire and asking all local business owners and managers to participate.
The survey is open to every business in Moree, of any type, with individual responses kept confidential. Following closure of the survey at the end of February, aggregated statistics will be produced and a summary report will be made available for participating businesses.
The survey aims to identify business challenges and opportunities and seeks feedback in relation to the impact of projects like the Moree Bypass. It will also assist Council and the Chamber to target specific business sectors through Council’s local economic development strategies.
The survey is forming part of a suite of efforts aimed at enhancing economic and community development over the coming months. As such, Council and the Chamber are hoping to obtain a 100% response rate, to gain an accurate snapshot of our local business landscape. The survey is intended to be part of a regular series, to allow changes over time to be tracked.
The survey is being hand-delivered to Moree’s main commercial areas, but is also available to complete online at:
