Over 3000 Ebook Titles Now Available
Big Sky Libraries is pleased to announce that it is now able to offer its customers access to even more ebooks titles as a result of its partnership with its neighbouring library services at Inverell and Cobar.
Over 3000 new titles have been added, including more than 1500 fiction titles including the latest bestsellers and also non-fiction titles including subject areas such as health, sport and history.
Big Sky Libraries Cooperative Library Manager, Mrs Sally Walters explained ebooks are just another format to access information and for many people it is becoming their preferred reading format.
"We are very excited to be able to offer a growing collection of ebooks to our community as more people embrace reading on their mobile devices than carry heavy books around with them. Ebooks are perfect for travellers," she said.
This collaborative approach to purchasing ebooks means the community can freely download the latest novels by simply logging on to www.bsl.nsw.gov.au and heading to the elibrary tab, choose your ebook and put in your library card number.
“Getting a library card is easy,” said Mrs Walters. “Just come into any one of the Big Sky Libraries, fill in a form, show some identification and join for free”.
