Our Customer service standard aims to complete the following;

  • Reserves with Playground areas will be sign-posted prior to spraying
  • Roadside Furniture
  • Education Centres, Nursing Homes, Community Health Centres, Kindergardens will be contacted in writing 48 hours prior to spraying

Pesticide Use Notification Plan Policy

This Pesticide Use Notification Plan Policy has been prepared in accordance with requirements of the Pesticides Regulation 2009 (the regulation). Pesticides (e.g Herbicides) are used by the Council to control noxious weeds and other undesirable vegetation on roadsides and other public lands under Council jurisdiction.
Pesticides (e.g. insecticides, rodenticides) are used periodically to treat white ant and insect/vermin problems in our buildings and other structures.
