Tenders and Expressions of Interest

Tenders and Expressions of Interest

Moree Plains Shire Council uses electronic tendering systems to find suppliers in order to source goods and services in a fair and equitable manner and to satisfy the probity requirements under current legislation. This also reduces the time and costs for both Council and our suppliers.

Council operates portals for both Tenderlink and Vendorpanel. The portals are used by buyers within Council to lodge current Tenders, Quotations and Expressions of Interest which are viewed by suppliers who are already registered. Preferred Supplier lists are also compiled to be used when requesting quotations from suppliers for particular projects or periods of extended works.

Suppliers are invited to register for both of Councils portals at the links below.

Supplementary Mechanical Services

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are called from businesses to provide supplementary mechanical services for Moree Plains Shire Council, heavy plant fleet in particular. Businesses that can provide additional services such as plant registration checks, air conditioning and auto electrical repairs are also encouraged to apply.

You will be required to undertake a range of mechanical services within your field of expertise, on a variety of plant including, but not limited to, graders, rollers, excavators, truck and dog trailers, backhoes and mowers. The location for repairs can vary from repairs on site, at the Council works depot or at your business workshop; however the ability to provide field services would be highly desirable.

In the first instance, interested persons or companies with the relevant skills to provide supplementary mechanical services should contact Council to obtain an application form. It is intended to eventually have all businesses/single traders join the VendorPanel system to simplify the process and a link to VendorPanel to join will be sent to each business email address, but this is not immediately necessary at this initial application stage.

Applications will be ranked in accordance with hourly rates, availability, quality assurance and area of expertise. Please note that there is no closing date and applications will continue to be received as submitted. To obtain an application form or for further information please contact Fiona McClymont, Airport & Support Manager on (02) 6757 3222 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
