General Manager Natalia Cowley
Natalia Cowley is Moree Plains Shire Council’s first female General Manager. She was, also, the first female General Manager for the City of Coffs Harbour and is credited with taking the Council from six years of projected operating losses, turning it around in the first year from $9.5m in the red in 2021-22 to $15.7m in the black 2022-23. She is an award-winning Chartered Accountant, having won the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Public Sector Award by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, Natalia has been instrumental in resolving the biggest financial crisis in recent Local Government history as the Chief Financial Officer and Director Corporate Affairs at Central Coast Council.

Director of Corporate Services Ian Stoneman
Ian Stoneman has 25 years of experience in senior executive management roles across the government, private and not-for-profit sectors (mentioned below).
These roles have allowed him to build, motivate, lead and inspire staff to achieve the goals of each organisation and to maintain positive relations with stakeholders and the public.
As a director, he is responsible for leadership and strategic thinking of Council’s Corporate Services – ensuring achievement of Council's short and long term objectives.

- Fifteen years, Director and CEO of Defence Force Recruiting
- Six years spent at the City of Melbourne
- Director of Corporate and Regulatory Services for Central Coast Council, Tasmania
- Ian is currently studying for his Master of Business Administration (MBA).
