Banners
Moree Plains Shire Council has one designated high profile banner location for community organisations, not-for-profit and educational facilities to advertise important events, information and campaigns that are relevant to the local community.
The banner stretches across Balo Street, just south of the junction of Heber Street via a pulley system.
Banner Specifications
- Landscape
- Length – maximum of 8 metres
- Width/Drop – depth of 1 metre
- Air Holes – minimum of 6
- Printing - double side with maximum of three lines of text
- Eyelets minimum 15mm internal diameter spaced at 500mm top and bottom
Cost: There is a non-refundable fee for the installation of the banner which is listed in the Council Fees and Charges under Entertainment & Events
Bookings: Use of the banner location must be booked two months in advanced
Delivery: Must be delivered to Council’s Customer Service Centre, Max Centre, Heber Street, Moree two weeks prior to installation. Council takes no responsibility for damages to the banner due to environmental factors.
Promotional Flags
Moree Plains Shire Council has 26 flagpoles stretching down the east and west sides of the main street of Moree to enhance the appearance of the CBD. They are used for decorative purposes, but have also been used for the promotional purposes.
Flag Specifications:
- Portrait Width – between 1m and 2m
- Length / Drop – between 2m and 3m with double sided reinforcing and sister clips
- Fabric – Polyester
- Printing – single side with minimum text
- Quantity - 26
Cost: There is a non-refundable fee for the installation of flags which is listed in the Council Fees and Charges under Entertainment & Events
Bookings: Flag installation must be booked a minimum of two months in advanced
Delivery: Must be delivered to Council’s Depot in Tycannah Street, Moree, two weeks prior to installation. Council takes no responsibility for damages to the flags due to environmental factors, traffic and possible vandalism.
